Opposite the port of La Cotinière, Luc Zindel receives guests in a charming little restaurant where he mainly cooks fresh fish straight out of the nets of Cotinard fishermen. L'Assiette du Capitaine favors "homemade" and regional products... Of course, breads and desserts are entirely prepared by the chef.
Luc Zindel regularly modifies his menu but are still unmissable such as raw-cooked cuttlefish, country langoustines, grilled shark with green banana Creole sauce. Fillet of sea bass with shallots If he is attached to Oléron, the chef has brought back ideas from his travels in more distant islands to concoct a very fine collection of more than 80 references of rum and arranged rums. For 25 years now, Luc Zindel has been making the adventure last, that of the pleasure of simple and good things.
